Yes

Pet insurance works on a reimbursement basis, similar to an “out of network” policy. Therefore, all bills need to be paid at the time of the appointment. However, we can assist you to file your pet insurance claim forms to your insurance company.

Yes, we operate on an appointment schedule. However, we allow space on our schedule to accommodate same-day emergencies so please call us if you need to come in.

You can call, text, or email us, or you can always make an appointment online through our pet portal.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us a call at least 24 hours in advance or you may be assessed a late cancel fee.

Medical Records. Please make sure to obtain a complete set of your pets medical records including exam notes, laboratory tests, and radiographs. Please email the complete set to us at records@universityanimalhospital.com

Paperwork. Please fill out our registration form, canine/feline checklist, and/or any other documents we send to you 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Medications. Please bring in a list of your pet’s medications so that we can accurately record them in your pet’s file.

Insurance. If your pet has insurance, please bring a blank submission form with you if you would like us to assist you in submitting your pet’s claim.

Payment. We accept cash, and all credit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept personal checks. All payments are due at the time of service. A deposit may be required.

All dogs need to be leashed on our premises, and cats must remain in their carrier.
